Lord,
6 g) b* P9 G7 o4 qhaving transformed( w' ?8 A* e/ \
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
8 {; B: }0 r$ j' ^$ k( ginto food upon which we are soon to feed,
) `5 U) ?1 L. h" g) _7 Ywe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
2 W! e# N" q- E4 @* Bso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.3 `$ K+ O& U. L O0 ?# R q: l) f% j4 B
We who came first and are ready to dine
, N! K- a) R8 m: othank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
7 `. l0 r: f) x. h/ Ebut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, 0 ?0 A% T) g9 }# m5 J O+ r
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
& I6 ?, [ t" a3 QInstead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others ; m0 g, g$ X. |8 R9 L" K3 X& s0 c8 W1 d
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted - D: J: U" y* y/ G/ f
