Footprints in the Sand& V5 B& R: Z+ D4 p9 _; a

* B0 M+ v0 ?% G# z( xOne night I had a dream
- Y  p' p; \, f: SI was walking along the beach with my Lord.3 _& [8 ^2 B' b: V" ^8 u3 M
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.+ \" @, B2 d9 W7 u
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,7 L/ @4 B7 g, K* |% e
one belonging to me# X' x3 y$ n; \& V9 u
and the other to my Lord.* L8 C9 r% y  u
When the last scene of my life shot before me
. e% ^' ^" |  @$ VI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
1 n5 Z& `5 b+ e2 [There was only on set of footprints.
& u6 X; v* Q9 {3 t  ~8 k* VI realized that this was at the lowest
2 r0 }( T: a4 M& d# x4 wand saddest times in my life./ ]3 h0 a) R% x
This always bothered me 2 s$ p5 |" x2 ~3 A
and I questioned the Lord
' u! f7 x4 H% {; `9 f- dabout my dilemma.% o& m8 [8 H# U: K1 D8 Y' p
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
7 A& ]4 D* d( S8 Y. K" a  {You would walk and talk with me all the way.2 t6 m. R( c: z0 J- b' P% j
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome " g" Y# G; I; f( z
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
! k0 h% z3 M  p- x* C. BI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
4 r- R1 j! o5 u; P$ vyou leave me."! B" z  S6 N( L% G$ l/ [6 u0 o
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
6 X& r8 C* l! O- ]I love you and will never leave you
* ^  W9 O2 g, i3 G3 h9 k. dnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
