美加的频率是一样的。加拿大只是GMRS不需要licence。

5 Q! ]0 I" i1 e1 z* O/ v. \由于Nanaimo的朋友增加到三人，trailheads之间再carpool就比较麻烦了。所以这次大家都直接到Maple Mtn. Rd.的trailhead。先走summit trail，如果下来后还想走coast trail的话，就要走roundtrip了。& k- ^) m9 Z: K+ I9 N

# b; ^9 }- \5 N& Q+ M( B" @不知道zy710000和sunshadow住哪里。这次还是按原计划7：30都到Costco吧。iloveuvic和bonnie22就麻烦痞子接一下。

我们Friday下午去了Maple Mountain, parked at end of Chilco Rd trail head, went through yellow (costal) trail -> then part of the pink trial -> then blue trail -> back to Chilco Rd。 See http://www.northcowichan.bc.ca/f ... aple%20mountain.pdf

不知你说的summer tail 是否是blue trail？blue trail 比较容易，costal trail 要难一些。 如两条都走的话, 先走costal trail要好一些(不然累了会影响安全).  景色不错, 还看到了bald eagles and sea lions. But scenery wise, we still like east sooke costal trail better, 4 Q! R1 I' N  I  j1 g4 I' t- ~

9 t  N1 Z3 R; o( n( U3 s穿好鞋(must be hiking shoes), 带足水, have fun.
