Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.3 |# O1 x& _/ Q% } H5 o
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,3 {; X1 s4 u5 g8 w* ~2 n! _
one belonging to me2 k1 H0 U. |; @3 z
and the other to my Lord. ! R: z* S4 r+ t9 ~When the last scene of my life shot before me 5 e% r1 M' F8 JI looked back at the footprints in the sand. 6 n* I7 R! D9 L5 B& LThere was only on set of footprints. : P- T& v ^4 i% }% z8 I, wI realized that this was at the lowest & d7 G2 m$ Q3 H$ V/ |/ Y
and saddest times in my life. \# |+ Q6 s$ q( U1 cThis always bothered me 8 t: W! G7 U6 Z8 P' @/ G
and I questioned the Lord * `- c& b; T7 j" Nabout my dilemma.8 U( ~6 Q5 C8 p
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,( K1 C% w9 U2 X+ Y& j' x" K' _
You would walk and talk with me all the way. $ @3 S$ s ?& k5 k" Q. S! ]9 U3 ZBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome 2 l5 X6 O7 r+ v/ ~" ]7 d4 N) W8 j
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.9 s% K- i8 z; m6 Y
