having transformed
6 _: T) C! \$ Q T: M" Asunshine and soil and water and seed,) w6 K& P' Y; C9 ^2 m! u
into food upon which we are soon to feed, 1 Y0 r* l. x1 V% i
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, * l/ L+ R, J0 _
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
6 T3 |6 V- V9 V$ g1 p8 tWe who came first and are ready to dine
, b3 u. ^& K4 d( }7 sthank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
2 l! U9 z( L! |+ k: gbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
4 ~7 {& T9 P- Wwe shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.
+ e2 S. k4 W! a' ?Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others 5 l5 ` m2 a, G5 \
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted
