Lord, ) o0 ^1 s; w# C6 ~3 G2 U9 h& G' C
having transformed* U9 j" {" f5 f4 R1 P
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
# e5 U! z/ s! G! J" x' M) {& A% `into food upon which we are soon to feed, 2 n0 F+ w5 k0 g) x8 `+ S5 t
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, 4 Y3 x! N+ @6 S0 d4 a6 A
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
* ^/ y: l* W* ~We who came first and are ready to dine
& B8 r5 s2 q" ?: m7 ]thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
3 ^: f2 s# d* ?( y6 ^& y9 T& [but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
: g& G& L+ C+ xwe shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.) J, K- S3 m2 \' K- ~
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others
; b/ R9 p; w' l8 p( L4 N5 Ythe way we were taught by our own loving mothers.9 B. O+ d) I% i. e3 L% I% J, Z

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted / W' @/ @- P, R2 f0 L
