One night I had a dream0 l" }6 N* H4 ^- s! c6 c
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
# O' F3 p/ H+ E6 N' _Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
) W3 U1 c: E: x9 J' Y: p% FFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,4 o8 C, T, v' l' f7 @
one belonging to me8 y2 t4 m2 Y5 Q) p& I" d
and the other to my Lord.
$ f! C* h+ \* B6 LWhen the last scene of my life shot before me3 W+ `; Y- G" [0 `) h& p
I looked back at the footprints in the sand., D5 T" z/ R6 e9 C. s, @; j/ x% r
There was only on set of footprints.
* _6 i- X- v' w0 T5 c5 o0 h% oI realized that this was at the lowest 1 u1 m9 j% D! E: c
and saddest times in my life.
5 d/ I! m/ T) S. j& p! W* TThis always bothered me
& @6 N0 Z3 N- K2 O, X' L; _and I questioned the Lord
7 E4 F, n& B* @  L& f' d1 Jabout my dilemma.' T5 a$ S4 M' C# x- \" [
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,# z* X1 ~* b0 Z5 n% Q  @$ t
You would walk and talk with me all the way.; D( Q9 C3 [" z1 V7 ~2 c
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 1 q- _( n( {) b
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.* M; p+ ?; d# c4 a
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 9 E3 E; V7 e# E+ X7 F8 ]
you leave me."
