* I5 I( }* B4 o4 G9 TOne night I had a dream
. C1 z4 @* }9 C+ y. i- dI was walking along the beach with my Lord.6 n  }& B2 o  J0 s% V! t
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
# j& Y& h6 Q& k7 j" C7 EFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,5 t1 P2 F% g' b3 r
one belonging to me8 ^+ m/ Z) P; s! ?' K# E
and the other to my Lord.
6 x3 M/ ]( B: G7 }8 Q7 R8 `When the last scene of my life shot before me
' n! @5 b$ i2 K: x( XI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
) W8 C. K/ q+ k4 P! RThere was only on set of footprints.9 t. l, F% ^9 c, z! R) y
I realized that this was at the lowest
3 P8 b9 M% w1 }6 |7 B) U# c% oand saddest times in my life.
% W. c; ~5 i+ D. x- W! dThis always bothered me
1 g7 [& d$ U1 e# A( x$ c7 nand I questioned the Lord1 K4 w" M( Z+ ]
about my dilemma.1 d9 H; w& I- X0 s
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,+ T0 a" A/ g1 W( N9 }
You would walk and talk with me all the way.2 r2 ^1 g( e% c; r5 w4 Y- J
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
. D6 T% f1 L5 w  U* Y4 L- stimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.1 K3 g8 U: y, r% b
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 3 o$ ~9 O. N4 o8 Y
you leave me."' X$ U$ M% H: \4 j
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
+ e5 G) M5 e2 k! H8 \! k/ i7 q* [I love you and will never leave you
7 q* F! t% Y- h4 U# knever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
